Function:
The finance committee serves to support the board of
directors on financial matters. The finance committee performs
internal audits of chapter finances, review financial procedures
and controls, prepares the annual budget, assists with financial
reporting, and is the overseer of investments. Additionally the
committee will review the annual external audit and make
recommendations to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20
board for changes in policies or procedures to improve financial
controls.
If you have a financial or accounting background and would
like to share some of your talents with us, please fill out a
volunteer form or contact the office. You must be a member of
the chapter to be a finance committee member. If you are a
Vietnam Era Veteran and not a member we would encourage you to

Annual Budget Process, Quarterly Audits, Annual Financial
procedures review.
Current Projects:
The committee does not have projects, but we are currently
recruiting new members to strengthen the expertise of our
committee.
